For centuries, Kannauj has been at the heart of Indian perfumery, yet contemporary luxury fragrance is still largely framed through European codes. For Amal Jain Perfumery, we built an identity that brings this heritage into the present, combining generations of knowledge with a modern luxury language. At the centre is the idea of the Indian Apothecary, where the traditional Deg Bhapka process becomes a symbol of transformation, craft and lineage.
The identity extends across packaging, illustration, colour, storytelling and digital. Deep burgundy and antique gold create the core visual world, while botanical palettes distinguish each fragrance. The Day and Night collections form two complementary expressions, with vintage-inspired illustrations, tactile finishes and packaging designed to unfold like a collectible storybook. Every detail is intended to slow the experience down and connect the wearer to the ingredients, craft and generations of knowledge behind each scent.
